Nutrition and Exercise are one in the Same
Improving our diets are only the beginning of the process of improving our overall health. Exercising is the icing on the cake. How much , depends on your schedule. The ideal is 5 times a week, and it should be varied. You don’t want to repeat the same routine every day. That only wears on the joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments that you are using.
For most of us we can usually squeeze in three time a week , but you will want to vary the days, one week do Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, another week you can do Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Here are some helpful hints to keep in mind when as you shape up.
Take Time to Warm Up
Spending 5-10 minutes warming up prepares your body for exercise.
Think Variety
Try varying the sites that you bike or walk in. New scenery can be very motivating, besides who wants to see the same old, same old every day. It’s like watching a bad movie on HBO they keep showing it and it was bad the first time so seeing it again isn’t going to change anything.
Get you Antioxidants
Don’t forget about the important role that proper nutrition plays in achieving an active lifestyle. Antioxidants, such as Viamin C and beta-carotene may play a role in preventing cellular injury and delaying muscle fatigue.
Do Not Forget to rehydrate, it is the single most important part of exercising is good old H2O
